Medieval Market are popular in november.
Several town at the Costa Blanca are hosting the medieval markets.
This towns are Rojales, Cartagena, Ciudad Quesada and Callosa de Segura.
All the medieval markets take place in the weekend of the 11 november.

So the market takes place at the the different plaza’s. Or in the old part of the towns.
What can you expect ?
On the market you can find handmade craft stalls, children play corner, medieval table games.
But also workshops for the children and musicians and other entertainment.
Furthermore craft demonstrations and all sort of eating stalls.
Most of then are open from 11:00 in the morning till 14:00. Then from 17:30 till 22:00.
For instance the Callaso market is situated in the old town. So the streets are changed into a living medieval theater. That is very popular for families with young children.
Cartagena Medieval Market
Indeed in Cartagena this medieval market event is more a cultural event.So, it is more a three culture period market. More specifically with the Jews, the Moors and the Cristians.
In Cartagena the market is situated in the old heart of the city. Important to know is that there are nearly 150 stalls. This stalls offers handmade good. But also “medieval” food. Also the entertainment is for the whole family with the children. This last ones adore the Medieval atmosphere.
Also, there are exhibitions on the Cartagena’s history.
This Medieval market give also a boast to the local shops, bars and other commerce.
