St Patrick’s day is back at Orihuela Costa in 2022 !
Orihuela Costa is the coastal strip of the city of the same name. It has several urbanization. It is a popular vacation place. But second residents also like to go there.
St Patrick’s day ?
This is Ireland’s national holiday to commemorate the patron saint.
This holiday falls on March 17 .
Because there is a considerable delegation of Irish people staying on the Orihuela Costa, this is also celebrated here.
It is a very lavish party. With a big parade, a costume party. But also floats and concerts with Irish singers and musicians.
St Patrick’s day is back at Orihuela :Green day
Today green is the color that green should be.
It is the color associated with St Patricks day.
Usually the revelers wear green costumes and hats.
The festival is celebrated everywhere the Irish have immigrated to.
For example in the United States or Australia .
But also in Orihuela to “Cabo Roig” . For two years there was no parade due to the Covid virus. But now it can go back.
Much to the delight of the many Irish and all those who feel Irish for one day. Since 2011, it has been a regular appointment to meet and celebrate the holiday on the boulevard of “Cabo Roig”.
By the way, did you know that it is one of the largest Irish parades in Spain.

St Patrick’s day is back at Orihuela
The parade will therefore take place on March 17 from 3 pm on the main avenue of this urbanization.
On this large boulevard there are many Irish pubs that will certainly cooperate. All expats will definitely gather there .
The most popular drink is Guinness. Indeed the national delicious brown “stout” beer.
